POTK - The Czech&Slovak Old Timer Glider Club was established in autumn 1991 by a group of enthusiasts gathered within Petr Hanacek.

At that time, just two all-wood gliders were flying in Czechoslovakia. Both took off for the first time thirty years ago... M-35 from Aeroclub Medlanky and VSB-62 Vega from Krizanov Club.

The POTK is interested in the history of gliding in Czech and Slovak Republic, technical conditions of old gliders and sailplanes, their overhauls, meetings and competitions of these flying old timers and participation in similar actions in neighbouring countries.

About one hundred members are registered in our club at the present.
